It sharpens photos and videos and turns any photo or video into a share link. Photos up to 1024px on the long side are upscaled 4x and up to 2048px 2x by an AI model that also removes blur, noise and JPEG blocks. Videos are lightly denoised, upscaled to 1080p when smaller, and sharpened.
For photos, yes. Studio runs Real-ESRGAN, an open-source super-resolution model, on our own servers. It is trained to undo blur, noise and JPEG compression, and it draws plausible texture where detail was lost. Photos larger than 2048px skip the model and are only sharpened. Videos use classic denoise, upscale and sharpen filters, not AI.
Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or TIFF up to 20 MB. Videos: MP4, MOV, WebM or MKV up to 95 MB. Video sharpening covers the first 60 seconds; share links keep the full video.
7 days. After that the link shows an expired page and the files are deleted. Anyone with the link can view and download the file, so only share it with people you trust.
Share links and their files are deleted after 7 days. Photos are re-encoded on upload, which removes metadata such as camera details and GPS location. The Starlix team is notified of each upload, with a small preview of photos, to prevent abuse and check quality. Don't upload anything confidential.
